civil & domestic restraining orders
Our company provides services to prepare and file both civil and domestic restraining orders.
-        Civil Harassment Restraining Orders - A civil restraiing order is issued by the Court in order to protect someone. Civil restraining orders can include stay-away orders, no contact, or peaceful contact orders. Civil restraining orders have an expiration date which is listed on the order. We also help modify existing civil restraining orders by filing motions with the court and serving the restrained party personally.
-        Domestic Violence Restraining Orders - A domestic restraining order is issued by the Court in order to protect a victim of domestic violence; any person who has been subjected to domestic abuse by a spouse, or any other person who is a present or former household member and where the victim is either 18 years of age or older, or an emancipated minor. A victim, of any age, also includes any person who has been subjected to domestic violence by a person with whom the victim has had a dating relationship. Domestic violence means the occurrence of either assault or burglary committed against a victim by an adult or emancipated minor.
